Basic Description/How-to: Public Show and Tell is a recontextualizing of the great elementary school activity made public and relevant to people of all ages. Individuals bring an object that’s important to them and share the story of that object with the circle. Create posters in advance and post them around town, announcing the time, place, and concept. Pick a congenial location where everyone feels comfortable. Be sure to have refreshments. And be sure to have a couple of the organizers' own show-and-tells ready to kick things off.
Inspiration: Surely you remember this as a favorite classroom activity from your youth!
Impact Statement: A community-building exercise, Public Show and Tell allows participants to share experiences within their community.
