Cami D. Egurrola is a 21 year old from the island of Guåhan who has shared her passions for dance, sustainability, photography, videography, and many other forms of mass media to her audience for nearly 8 years.
Before starting as a freelance photographer, videographer, & social media manager, Cami attributes and credits her understanding of mass media to her 2 years at KUAM News/Communications as Digital Producer and Host.
Now, she has taken that experience and combined it with her desire to tell stories through photography and videography. She is currently working with Micronesia Climate Change Alliance as a host, videographer, and editor (alongside her partner Franceska De Oro) for the digital series, “From Our Nånas, For Our Nenis”. The series focuses on food systems, sustainability, local produce, and wellness. In addition, the series sheds light on the effects food has on Chamoru culture and tradition.
