DESCRIPTION: The story goes that the Lawrence, KS, Field Office of the USDAC germinated fully formed from a giant seed-pod transported through a paradigm-shift time-portal at our Imagining last June. With care and attention, and with increasing curiosity of passersby, it has taken root within an East Lawrence art studio. Improvisational, intentional, action-oriented and overly ambitious, we haven’t paused long enough to sit on our hands (especially with the awareness that the Grays could return at any moment).
