Across the USDAC network and beyond, artists, cultural organizers, and creative activists want more ongoing connection and exchange with peers working in similar issue areas or with specific populations. In response, we’ve created thematic USDAC Bureaus.

Bureaus are ongoing communities of learning, exchange, and action, connecting practitioners from across the country through the USDAC’s digital organizing tools and platform. They extend beyond specific actions, conversations, geography, or moments of mobilization. Each USDAC Bureau is led by one or two experienced cultural organizers with relevant expertise. Activities include: hosting learning calls to share strategies and case studies; creating new resources and calls to action; presenting, sharing, and network-weaving at convenings; and nurturing opportunities for local artists and cultural organizers to engage strategically with national partners and organizing efforts.
